Histroic Milestone for Baseball

This is an interesting story. Sean Forman from the website Baseball-Reference.com along with research from the Society for American Baseball Research have estimated that Gary Sheffield grand slam in the 2nd inning of the Oakland-Detroit game was the 250,000th home run hit in the major leagues. That's an amazing thing to think about. Think of all the runs that have been scored in the 133 years since Ross Barnes hit the first one on May 2, 1876.
